This bow was purchased, but it was never actually fully set up nor used.
It is in great shape in every possible way, including the new GAS string set that is installed (a nearly $200 upgrade).
As those of you who are familiar with this bow are no doubt aware, it is one that was created by Mathews out of the long standing love of the original Z7 as is has very similar specifications to that beloved bow.
This bow is difficult to find- especially in this kind of condition.
I have only the bows you see listed to offer, no others.
I will work with you on putting together a package that is of most interest to you should you wish to add anything to the bow. All available items are listed here.
Bow Specifics:
- approximately 30" axle to axle
- 7" brace height
- 4.5 lbs (bare bow only)
- up to 330 fps IBO
Here are the specifics:
-Right Handed
-Currently the bow is set up with a 29 inch cam. The draw length can only be changed by changing the cam installed on the bow.
I have no other cams at all for this bow.
It will be sold as it currently sits- with the 29 inch cam installed.
With the correct cam installed the bow can be set up anywhere from 24 to 30 inches in any half inch increment.
Again though, I have no other cams so will be including the current 29 inch cam ONLY.
-70 pound limbs in factory Mathews Lost XD Camo finish. The limbs currently top out on my scale at just over 72 pounds and can be set as low as 58 safely.
-The riser of the bow is in factory Mathews Lost XD Camo finish.
-The string and cable are in perfect condition as they have never been set up nor used in any way. This is a GAS string set, nearly $200 in cost installed, and a great string set.
I can set the string up for you with peep and d loop as part of the sale price here if you would like for me to do so.
-No peep sight has ever been installed in the string. If you would like me to install a peep sight prior to shipping, I will install a brand new peep sight prior to sending the bow out as part of the price you see here. I have tubeless RAD Super Deuce peep sights in either 3/16 or 1/4 inch sizes. Please just let me know you would like this done and I will be sure that a peep sight is installed, aligned, served into place and is ready to shoot.
-No string loop has ever been installed on the bow. I can install a string loop prior to shipping the bow out if you would like me to. This is included in the listed price. Please just let me know you would like this done and I will be sure that a string loop is installed and ready to shoot.
-The sight is a Brand New Axion GLX 5 pin in black finish. Those of you who are familiar with Axion are aware of their quality and durability. All 5 pins are in .019 size. There is also a rheostat blue light added to the sight. The light mounts in the bracket of the sight, so that it shines only on the extended fibers of the pins. This eliminates any halo that can occur when lights are shined on the pins themselves and helps to eliminate any external light so that you do not spook any game when hunting. There is also an Mathews Harmonic Dampener in the sight to match the bow and to even further reduce any noise and vibration.
I also have many other sights should you want something other than this one. Please just either send me a message or call to inquire about the sight you are interested in and I can let you know if I have it available and what, if any, difference in price there will be.
-The stabilizer is a new BeeStinger 6 inch in Mathews Lost XD Camo finish. This is a nice stabilizer in both look and function. As can be seen, it has three weights at the end of it. Each of those are one ounce a piece. Those can be removed or added to in order to change the weight of the stabilizer to best fit your shooting needs (no other weights are included here beyond the 3 currently installed). It matches the bow pretty well, but as you can see the color of the camo wrap on the stabilizer is slightly lighter than the bow- though definitely is in Lost XD camo finish.
I also have some other stabilizers that could be included with the bow. If you would prefer to have a different stabilizer, please just contact me by email or phone and I can work something out with you to set this bow up with the accessories you want.
-The rest is a Trophy Ridge Whisker Biscuit. This is a nicer of the Biscuit rests with both horizontal and vertical adjustments. The Biscuit is a long standing favorite of many shooters as it completely contains the arrow for you. There are no moving parts like a drop away to ever fail you. The Biscuit, in every shooting test done, is every bit as accurate as any drop away on the market.
I also have some other rests that could be included with the bow. If you would prefer to have a different rest, please just contact me by email or phone and I can work something out with you to set this bow up with the accessories you want.
-Also included is a Brand New quick detaching Fuse Maxxis 4 arrow quiver in black finish. This is a nice quiver in both look and function. It mounts securely with a screw down locking knob that attaches to the very small, light-weight mounting bracket that mounts to the rear of the sight. When detached, all that remains is the very small, light-weight bracket on the back of your sight. Should you choose to shoot with the quiver in place, it can be secured tightly with the screw-down locking knob. There is also an integrated hook for hanging when detached should you choose to shoot with the quiver detached.
